Sheeler from John Roebling's Historic Saxonburg Society gave us an update on
the progress of the Main Street Historic District. The South
Butler County School District provided lunch, and our door prize was
donated by Clint Champagne of Champagne
Appraisal Services.

Our
monthly meeting was cancelled due to an ice storm that closed the Saxonburg
Library.

The
subject was taxes, as Karen Vidt,
CPA offered some quick pointers on 2007 tax preparation and 2008 tax
planning. Lunch was provided by Laura Kacy of Home Is Where The Tea
Is, and our door prize was donated by Kacy's All Clean.

Over 80
people attended our Christmas lunch at the Westminster
Preserve of Armstrong Farms. Catering was done by Oakview
Golf Club, and our door prize was donated by Armstrong
Farms Landscaping & Gardening Supply Center.

Planning
for the upcoming SABA Light Up Night & Parade took place, with Jack
Hutterer of Northwood Realty filling
in for committee chair Joyce Hutterer. C. Matus Company sponsored the
door prize, and lunch was sponsored by Crystal Spreng of Citizens
Bank. Special thanks go our to our parade

100 people attended our second annual Autumn Days Golf Scramble and Happy
Hour at the Conley Resort Inn.
